HeForShe is UN Women’s solidarity movement for gender equality.
Launched in 2015 by UN Secretary General Ban Ki- moon and UN Women Global Ambassador Emma Watson with the aim of engaging men and boys in conversation and encouraging the entire population to take action for equality now.
Since it's launch HeForShe has started over 2 billion social media conversations
#HeForShe mobilises people of every gender identity and expression as advocates for gender equality, and acknowledges the ways that we all benefit from this equality.
